Measurement accuracy is paramount when selling a home or any residential or
commercial structure. Achieving accuracy instills confidence that a home or building is what is represented. On the other hand, misreporting square footage is a liability for sellers and agents.

New requirements for actual square footage raise the bar for what is required from
those in the real estate field. New app services that utilize smart phones require a
careful interior survey of a home or building, only to grossly misrepresent square
footage. These products’ estimates are typically off by 5 to 8%, leading to a potential misrepresentation of value:

30 mile range is included in pricing, $1 per mile additional

Fee is based on total building area, including garages, basements, and other measured areas.

Once an order is placed, we will work with you to schedule a day and time for both
interior and exterior access. On-site measurement typically takes about 30 – 45 minutes (more for large and/or complicated buildings).

Within 24 hours of measurement, we will provide you with an e-mail with the sketch, including above-grade gross living area, finished and unfinished below grade-areas, garages, decks, porches, etc.

Why don't I just use CubiCasa?

Floor plan apps using a smartphone are not reliably accurate. These applications have been found to vary from the actual square footages by 5-8%.

The only way to achieve A.N.S.I. standards is to perform an exterior measurement.

What about payment?

Payment at the time of service is customary. We accept Venmo, credit cards, and
check.

Do you measure other property types?
